COMMENTS/STORY:
I was raised in a strongly influenced Heavy Metal background being that my Dad is very involved in music and I was soon to follow. He got me my first guitar when I was just 5! I would write songs and perform for the family but the funny thing was I had no idea how to play; I would just strum the guitar as fast as I could to make an impression. When I was young I was always in company of great musicians, members from Doro, Doro Pesch, Nick Douglas, Joe Taylor (Lita Ford Guitarist), Johhny Dee (Britney Fox drummer), Oliver Palotai (Kamelot), Schmier and Mike of Destruction, Stu Marshall and Lord Tim of Dungeon, all the Edguy members and many more who all came to my house. To be honest I was one of the luckiest kids around.

I started to play Soccer at Melbourne Knights and I loved the sport, leaving me without time to focus on music. All I did was play soccer. I was lead goal scorer in my age group in the whole region for years. I had broken bones and bled for my club which is where my heart was. But suddenly changed. I was the victim of many acts of politics and meddling parents. Dirty politics and acts of backstabbing by a hand full of people caused me to slowly losing interest in the world game.

It was in December 2010 while my Dad brought the hot all female band ANGELS from Croatia to Rock Australia. They were staying at our place and I started jamming with them. I met Tony at one of the concerts and we we had a blast.

We banged our heads and raising our fists, we saluted ANGELS whom were on stage. That night Tony was telling me about starting a band and that he was looking for some members to join. He told me how they can play hits from bands like AC/DC so I found a sudden interest.

I got his contacts and the next weekend I went over to his place for a rehearsal. That’s where I met Kriatian; he ought to be the most funniest and laid back kid that I had ever met. It came to my knowledge that the band could not actually play the songs that Tony told me that could, which I found to be quite funny.

In fact, the guys hadn’t even been playing for a long time, so that made me feel more comfortable. I started as lead guitarist and soon ended up doing lead vocals.

The new soccer season was starting and I returned to the club. The same few people were lobbying against me and that inspired me to hang up my boots and take up my passion for music professionally. Yes, I'm young but I mean business. I began writing songs. Funnily enough, the people that were causing me trouble at the Soccer club were sacked from their positions and I was being invited to come back but I decided that music was far too important to me and I wanted to totally focus on music and my performance. Bad people can cause you trouble in a soccer club, but nobody can take away my music!

We needed a bassist so Tony suggested a guy from his school called Joshua Scarparci (but we all call him Scaps). He came down to a rehearsal and we instantly gave him a yes, no questions asked! we had gotten the opportunity to play at our first show at Croktoberfest. We played a 40 minute set with hit’s from AC/DC, Bon Jovi, Scorpions, Black Sabbath, Guns’n’Roses and even our own original Rock ‘n’ Roll Forever Be, the show was great but for some reason, the program for the festival had our band name listed as ‘’Shredders.’’ I still to this day do not know how our name ended up being Shredders.

In 2011, we had the chance to headline a big festival called CrozFest. We played on the first day and we also got the chance to play on the second day. We played original and hits from Skid Row, Manowar, Quiet Riot, Judas Priest, Scorpions, AC/DC and even a hit by Croatian band Divlje Jagode (Wild Strawberries). Now we really put on a great show and since then, people really started to take us seriously.

I've also had the chance to hang out with and have proper guitar jamming sessions with awesome guitarists like Mark Isailovich (from Perth), Henrik Bergqvist from The Poodles (Sweden), Hanny from Black Majesty and so many more. I've had vocal advise from Rachel Pedri of Ravenshead and Iron Majesty and I have the most awesome vocal training from one of the best vocalists in Australia, Danny Cecati whose hair is so long it touches the floor. Danny also teaches me that long hair is the secret to all the magical powers and that I should never cut my hair short (not that I ever would).

I’ve been known as the kid who needs to get a haircut and get a life, but I’ve been standing up for what I believe in and never backing down, showing the world what I am and who I am.

We are a Heavy Metal band, Mystery! We are young and rocking and ready to show the world what we got!

Rock on \m/
